Absolutely not impressed with the lack of basic necessities, like toilet paper, running low. The room was tiny, barely big enough for my shopping bags. I was expecting a complimentary upgrade, but instead, it's just your average hotel experience. Shame really, since i almost considered a good review, but just couldn't.

Spacious, light and airy, very clean. Hosts were very friendly. Although this is an older style motel, it is very well cared for. Well located between restaurants and lakeside park land. Very good value for money. Would definitely stay again.

I loved how the hotel was within walking distance to many amazing attractions like the Waikato Museum of Art and History, and I was able to enjoy a leisurely stroll to Lake Rotoroa to take in the beautiful park views .

Greatly enjoyed our 4 nights stay. Everybody was nice and courteous. The location was great and stunning, close to the lake with easy access to the main shopping centre and supermarkets. Moreover, the hotel was at a walking distance from Skycity Hamilton.

Karen was very friendly and helpful, good at communicating. I arrived very late and she got up to welcome meand offered to help with luggage Found me a room when all motels were booked out. My dog could stay with me Swimming pool Close to hospital
Not being to be able to park right outside my room but location in complex made it impossible. Not really a problem though

I enjoyed gorgeous room here.
The stay here was awesome for one night. The room was very great, exceptionally comfortable bed. Its location approx 10-15 minutes' walk from a kowhai-themed park was awesome! Visited few places in the center, a 10-15 minute walking distance from the hotel.

From skeptic to superfan
Friendly and helpful staff. The large apartment was equipped with everything we needed, and the cleanliness was excellent, proving that comfort can come from well-maintained lodgings.
The exterior needs attention. Some areas were rundown and the pool was unexpectedly closed. My initial impression was marred by this disarray, although the services inside were on point.

We had stayed here a few years ago and had liked the place then so when we were going over for a hot air balloon ride there was no hesitation as to where to stay. We found the place very quiet with no traffic noise at all even though it's walking distance to town. The owners are lovely and were of great help in information on places to visit. Even though there were people above our unit we only heard them a couple times and during the day

Plenty of parking and surprisingly spacious rooms! The kitchenette was a bonus too. On the downside, the overall upkeep felt a bit lacking, giving a rundown vibe. 😕
